Galvek (Dragon Slayer 2) HELP

Would appreciated any tips/advice on killing Galvek at the end of Drag Slayer 2. Had him on 15hp one go but alas it ended in death (for me).

Mainly any tips on inventory set up (been using mainly sara brews/sup restores)

Mind posting your gear setup/stats as well? I'm guessing you have the mechanics pretty much down at this point if you're getting him to 15hp, so that may help us narrow in on where you might be able to eke out a little extra damage. Knowing which attacks/phases you're specifically struggling on is also good intel.

Also, it's not everybody's cup of tea for obvious reasons, but I know a few people that have been helped with getting their first fire cape, beating Galvek, etc. by streaming their attempts in our Discord server. Might be good as a last resort if you keep getting stuck? #advice-srs in there is also a good resource, and will probably get more attention than a forum thread, since Discord sees a lot more traffic these days

Gear set up: archer helm, barrows gloves, fury, ancient d'hide chaps/body, dragon crossbow, antifire shield, d boots.

Inventory: range pot, extended antifire, 4 food (mantas) then the rest is sara brews/sup restores.

Not really struggling with any particular phase mechanics, just seems to be the prolonged nature of the fight end up running low on everything towards the end, think if i could extend the fight slightly long i'd have it cracked!

Bring some ruby bolts e, anti-venom and also salve ammy (ei) for undead bonus.

Galvek works pretty much like Vorkath, move 2+ squares and you dodge some damage from the fireball. For the final fight, zoom out as much as possible, it's easier to avoid stuff.

Your gear looks fine but to be honest, Verac's skirt would give you more defence, pushing for the highest range damage bonus works better when you have 99 defence.

Maybe push your range to 85, it shouldn't take too long, you'll hit harder.

You'll be pleased to hear Galvek has finally been defeated managed it with 78 range and just switched to dragon ruby (e) and dragon diamond (e) bolts and seemed to do the trick. Had about 4/5 sara brews left over and a few sup restores. Also swapped out blessed d'hide legs for Verac's Skirt!
